Where you will work
Over the years, GD has built up a large Research and Development department and we have one of the biggest veterinary laboratories in the world, where we conduct nearly five million laboratory tests every year. GD also has a team of veterinarians, specialists and scientists. They monitor animal health, carry out practical research and develop programmes for the prevention and control of animal diseases.
Our staff departments create the right working conditions, so that our experts at the laboratory and in the animal sectors can focus fully on improving animal health.

Placements and internships
During a placement or internship you will learn how to apply the theory you were taught during your studies in the real world, while gaining relevant work experience. You will see how things are done on the work floor and experience the sector in practice.
As a knowledge organisation, we regularly offer interesting internships and placements. At Royal GD we believe in the power of sharing. Knowledge sharing combines insights and experiences from different perspectives, resulting in new knowledge for both parties.
GD is in regular contact with a number of educational institutions about the availability of placements and internships. Ask the placement manager for your course about this.
At the moment, there are no placements or internships available. If you are interested in a placement or internship at Royal GD, you are welcome to send us an open application via our application form.
